The Masters of Abstraction Scientific Programme was held on 18 January 2019 at Ngan Pui Ying Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Anchored on the theme of “How AI and Big Data are Driving Innovation?” five distinguished Laureates shared their wisdom with over 200 young Hong Kong scientists and students to foster new innovative ideas, and to create a better future for the next generation.

The programme was kicked off by opening speech by Chairman of Innovative Business Foundation – Mr. Michael Ong, Associate Vice President (Research Support) of PolyU – Prof. Guohua Chen, Associate Vice President (Research Support), Managing Director of Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation – Ms. Ruth Wetzlar and Chairman of STEM Education Alliance – Dr. Cheung Chak Chun. The event has received overwhelming response from aspiring students.
